Digital Detox

With so many messages coming at us, it's important to remember the most important messages come from within.

The more time we spend online scrolling through the saturated pages of content that are so easily accessible, the harder it is for us to hear our inner voice when it speaks to us.

Finding the balance between community, connection, and unplugging can be quite the challenge in the digital age. As a business owner, this is something I personally struggle with often. The more content I create with intention, the stronger my community feels connected to Doux Sol. On the other side of that same coin, the more content I create, the more time I spend on my phone, and the more time you spend on yours, absorbing that content.

Content created with intention can inspire, can guide, can help heal, but how much of it do we really need? Create the habit of exposing your mind to a healthy dose of mindfully curated content. Understand that what you see and read is what you're feeding your brain. Become selective when choosing your mental diet. Commit to going an entire day every week without opening any social media apps. Understand that it can be hard at first, and that you're likely to open an app without even realizing until you're on it, but know that the more you practice this, the easier it'll become.

You deserve a digital detox.
